This is a very nice bag for lugging around gear, and not looking like a commando. Build quality is very good, and lots of pockets to forget where you put things.
The wide shoulder pad is nice. As you walk the pad, and the webbing that runs through the pad move independent of each other. The rubbing takes a little getting use to.
If you are planning to use it for carrying your pistol the pockets are fine, on your right side. But for pistol on body, and bag on left side the mag pockets would at the back. Not great for reloading.
It would be nice if the top flap was a little wider to cover the main compartment when closed.
I take it with me, and leave in the vehicle I am traveling in. Ammo, trauma kit, and other related items, are in the bag. For the most part I am not far from it if needed.
If you don't protect your self, who will?
