I was looking at a Kimber Guardian Angel pepper spray unit until I learned I can legally only have pepper sray that is 2% or less OC in Michigan. Does anyone have any other units or companies products they would recommend? Thanks.

The Gun Shops are selling the Kimber here i can walk in and buy it today so i'm guessing it fits into the guide lines of what we can have here
Another stupid law...
I can carry a gun with 15 rounds of .45, but my pepper spray cannot be greater than 2%? Now we must have been paying a politician some big bucks to come up with that logic!

The entire percentage thing concerning OC spray is all goofed up.
Some makers skew the numbers to make their product appear more powerful/effective. It's all marketing.
The effectiveness of OC has nothing to do with the % of OC as compared to the remainder of the inerts.
It's all about the measured SHU of the product.

Thanks for all the replies. I will contact Fox. I'll also call Kimber to see what the scoop is there.

Exactly... the 2% doesn't burn or incompacitate any less then the 5% or 10% sprays...
The only difference is the recovery time. The 5% spray has a quicker recovery time than the 10% and the 2% quicker than the 5%
We tell officers, if you don't want BG sniveling and snotting and coughing up all over the back of your patrol car for 30 minutes, use the 2% or 5% spray.
