    I did it today... Bought a G2

I stopped at the bass pro shop today on my way to a friends wedding and bought a G2 light. I was wondering how you all carry them, Unscrewed to where the momentary wont work or in the momentary range for easy use. If the second do you ever find it bit on in your pocket?

    Thanks
    Mark

I use mine with the tail just in the off position. Usually carry in a holster, but pocket carry has not activated it either.

Currently I'm looking for a holster that I can carry it bezel down in, but right now I leave it unscrewed just a bit in my pocket. I've actually had it turn on in my pocket long enough for my leg to heat up (I was driving and thought it was the sun warming my leg until I felt my pocket area get REALLY hot) and to blow the bulb.

Congrats on the new SureFire. The G2 is prolly the very best bargain in flashlights that there is! Wise choice deciding to start carrying a light too!

For work I usually have my G2 in the pocket on my carpenter's jean about 1/2 way down the leg. It has come on a time of two, you will notice withing a few minutes if it does, that burning sensation starts. I carry mine with the cap about a turn from on, but momentary still works.

Try taking off the tail cap and putting a little teflon tape around the threads and then screwing the cap on to where the button will work. The tape makes the cap a little harder to screw down and will keep it from twisting on in your pocket.
As far as a holster goes, you can't go wrong with blade tech.

I carry my G2 in a composite holster on my weak side. I believe it is made by Blackhawk. I upgraded with the 120 lumen bulb for that extra zap of light.
