About LinkBacksI was wondering if there was a custom grip maker here on the forums...I'd love to have some custom wood grips with an inlay. I've got a pair of custom 1911 grips with a "Punisher" skull in them and would love to have a matching set for my j frame.

Contact the same guy who made your punisher grips rare and unique on ebay I think.

yeah, I did, he only makes 1911 grips. I think thats who I got them from, there is also one other guy, but he said the same thing.

I had the same thought but I wanted the Damascus grips for my J. I think there is a market out there for these.
Training means learning the rules. Experience means learning the exceptions.

You might get a hold of K-man at K&D Holsters. I am not sure that he is doing grips for other that 1911's but may be able to put you in touch with someone who could help you. He made this post a while back on the KTOG forums.

I'm diggin Kevin's critter skin grips!!
I might have to ask him about some snakeskin grips to match my snakeskin cochise defender.
But I'm still not sure if I'm gonna go with this floral design.
Also, These guys do offer a magical way to reproduce any grips you currently have. And they do inlays.
