New Surefire E2E
Man this light is great, its small enough to carry around all day and 60 lumens is nothing to sneeze at. Also, on surefire's customer service, i already broke the pocket clip, it got caught on a chair as i was sitting down and snapped in half. 1 email to surefire and a new one is on its way.

That's funny, I also broke the clip on my E2E. I didn't bother to have them replace it, though - I found a very large clip elsewhere and fixed it to my E2E with paracord.
My E2E is always in my purse, and is excellent at lighting movie theater seats so I don't sit on gum.

Is the clip on yours removable? I've tugged and tugged on mine and it won't come off!

Yup, I'd like to know how to remove it as well! I don't particularly like it.
Maybe they sent a whole replacement body?

OK - never mind. After actually looking at it, it's pretty simple. Take the head and o-ring off, then push the clip forward toward the head using the angled portion to apply thump pressure. The clip will come off with a little t-wedge as well. Don't lose it!
To reassemble, I tried to install the clip and t-wedge at the same time. No good. I slid the clip into place, then started the t-wedge into place behind it (make sure the contoured edge is on the outside, with the flat edge in). Screw the head back on, and the t-wedge magically seats itself! Then you have to unscrew the head again, install the o-ring and reinstall the head. Done.
You can probably put the o-rin in place before the t-wedge, but I sure didn't want to tear or damage that o-ring, so I put it on last.

You sir - are a Genius! After reading your post (and using the edge of a desk for leverage) mine too came off! Of course I had to have a sledgehammer to get the little T-wedge back in, but - it worked! I needed to bend mine in a little - it had gotten kinda spread out and was starting to fall out of my pocket almost daily!
Thanks Mo!

I got 2 E2D's that have broken clips-passed it off as being a lousy design.
If SF replaces these then thats not so bad after all. They should put better clips in there.

My SureFire E2e is a great light. I've tried some others, but 60 lumens works for me...I don't need a light to land aircraft in a field...just something for 'the darkness' and SD...it works for both.
I bought the Cabela's $20 LED/2 AA batteries a while back, but it doesn't work as well as my E2e...
I have replaced my 2D cell, and my 4D cell mags with LED bulbs and that made a big difference in the output of both mags...both are great lights...but neither can replace my pocket carry 'E2e'...
