Gun Safe?
Not sure if this is the proper category or not, apologies if not, but does anyone have any recomendations for a fairly slim handgun safe that would fit under the bench seat of a pickup? All the models I've been able to find have been too tall. Has anyone mounted a safe in this location? Thanks..!

About $30 . The cable is no issue to me. A multitool wouldn't cut the cable quickly. I've got these stashed in various places for valuables also.

Is the cable more substantial than the pictures seem to indicate? Could it be replaced with heavier guage aircraft cable?

The cable could be cut...I'm sure...if the smash and grab thief had the right cutters, but you would be hard pressed to find the safe in the first place...the cable is just a 'slow down'...that is...if you can find the safe!

You have a secert hiding place for your safe. I have a truck, it would be under the seat...not very hidden. Any advice?

Those Center Of Mass safes say they have hole pre-drilled for mounting - I'd be concerned too, if it was only the cable, but I think mounting one of those to the back wall of my pickup cab might be just the thing. Thanks guys..!
