I like it because it stays in place like a grease and does not attract dirt and dust at all. Its also made for metal-to-polymer contact in addition to metal-to-metal contact. It makes the slide feel like its on ball bearings.
I've been using it on my handguns and AR for the last couple of years and have been really happy with its performance.

Parris Island introduced it to me, so it's been CLP since 1987, through war and peace without a problem.

Guys guys come on no one here uses frog lube, completely bio I have some nice wood grips an do not want to use any petroleum based product on them, would you put mobile one on your dining room table. Check this stuff out
I now use Mobile 1 M1 synthetic 10W30....they have dumped tons of money into development, and in my mind, guns and engines are running under some of the same stresses. I love the stuff, and it is oh so cheap! I started using 20W50 first, but found that 10W30 works better for my AR15 (was completely by accident, and probably no difference....but now I use it on rifles and handguns).
