    Duracoat any one?

I picked up a Eagle Arms AR-10 a few weeks back, and love the rifle less the OD green. Green just is not my fave color. One of the guys at the gun shop I frequent suggested Duracoat. My first thought was to paint the green parts black. Another of his suggestion was to do an urban camo job, matte black, snow gray, white.

Sound like the folks that have done it on this forum have had good luck with Duracoat. Any thing I should look out for? Any other suggestions for getting rid of the green?

If you have pictures of your guns painted in camo I would like to see them.

Never used Duracoat yet but do have a project in mind.

Only camo type finish I have is my FAL - done by the previous owner.

Not Camo, but it is duracoat and the finish is holding up well so far with 2 classes under it's belt....

I dont baby the rifle by any means...

The .300 Whispet that I just built was Duracoated Matt Black along with the can. It seems to be holding up pretty well. It matches the Leupold Scope finish perfectly.

Just use a small airbrush and it ought to come out just fine.
