I boasted about the performance of the ASP Triad (not the new led Triad Tactical) on another thread a few weeks ago.
I am still extremely happy with it, but...
Someone mentioned the UltraFire CREE led lights from dealextreme so I checked them out.

I got the C2 light and man is it great!
It is easily as bright and throws as far as the Triad.
Takes both 2xCR123A or 1x18650 batteries.
The best part is the price $22.35 delivered! it is from China but so is the ASP (I think)
The voltage range is up to 9volts so I can use the rechargeable batteries that blew the lamp in my Triad.
If I had to find something to complain about, it would be that there is no momentary on function.
A great little light, well the reflector is HUGE but it works.
