I'm not a big fan of customizing my guns but throughout history many others have. Engraving is still popular, some like changing grips to personalize their guns. Painting what is already engraved is just another inexpensive way to show off a brand insignia or other lettering on the gun. Each to his own.

I would only mention what I have said to many of my design clients over the years, Good taste doesn't cost extra.

Wow, talk about engraving! Noticed that it is 9mm/.38. Thanks for sharing SIGP250.

which crayon works best? Crayola brand or will the cheap Chinese crayons work?
Crayolas melt at 120-140 degrees f. A couple high-cap mag dumps should have your fill liquifying nicely.

Yesterday my son and I went to the range and he brought along what seemed like a bottomless bag of 9m. We had a couple of UpLula mag loaders and blew through a few hundred rounds of 9 along with some 45 and 223. Today I was cleaning up the pistols and even after some good range time and a cleaning the crayon fill is unaffected. Kinda surprised.

I thought it was because they wanted them to look tacky. Guess I was wrong again.

Adult men coloring in there guns with Crayola crayons. The antis are going to have a field day with this.
