Gun Belt
I have finally decided to break down and get a good gun belt for IWB carry. From my search, I know that The Belt Man has gotten good reviews from members here. Any other recommendations which won't require me taking out a second mortgage on my house to pay for it?
Thanks.
Ron

Ron,
I just ordered a 1 1/2" Wilderness belt with 5 stitch and polymer insert while I'm waiting on my gunbelt that was ordered from Brigade Leather. I went on recommendations from the great people here in DC.com. Hopefully it won't take too long to get here.

For leather belts I use Kramer double thickness horsehide in the 1 1/2 inch size. Remember, you get what you pay for. In nylon, I have several Wilderness 1 1/2 inch 5 stitch belts. Both are top quality!

I use the Gunner's Alley 1.5 inch belt. Cost for the 1.5 inch is $70.00.

Beltman and Comp-Tac's belts are very good and good looking.

Mine is a Galco sorta dressy belt. So I can wear it when I do my limo runs. I think they are having an online sale.

I'm very satisfied with my 1.5 inch cowhide belt from RafterS Gunleather.

I also have a Galco, actually two (tan & black). I think the Beltman would be every bit as nice.

The Beltman is terriffic and his prices are more than reasonable. I do recommend the Kydex liner though. I have various belts by various makers, The Beltman being one of them.
I have a belt by Ted Blocker and one by Bruce Gibson also. Both are high quality and you get your money's worth. If you ever order a custom leather holster I suggest that you order a belt from the same maker at the same time. Holsters and Belts are designed to work as a "Unit".

What size do you suggest is best for informal IWB carry, such as dockers and cargo shorts and pants?
