Do You Carry A Flashlight?

Exactly when and where I'm going out usually determines which light and where I carry it.
I have several small "tactical" lights. The two that see the most work currently are an E2e from Surefire and a Streamlight rechargeable, which is the same size as a Surefire 6P.
The Streamlight gets most of the use when I'm riding on the ambulance, or when I'm looking for a light to carry on my belt.
When I'm running on the truck, I also have a larger Streamlight Strion light, that I carry in my gear bag. Use it when I know I'm gonna be working in the dark (the scene of an MVA or something for example.)
But yeah, I'm more likely to have a flashlight on me then I am to have a firearm...only because I still spend time in NJ... the only tool I have more often then the flashlight is my knife :)

So far, I have a maglite with the l.e.d add-on for computer work and then I just bought a surefire E1L for limo jobs. Its great when I have a drunk (makes 'em think you're a cop) or when I have to search the back of the limo to make sure none of the drunk bachelors dropped a wallet, a wedding ring (yes, it happens), or any other valuable.
When it's headed towards dusk I carry one and I have a light mounted on my XD45 when I go to bed

They are left in full possession of them."

Wherever I go, my Surefire L2 follows behind me clipped to my back pocket
Gun control is hitting what you aim at...
I wear a neck knife 24/7, and on the ball chain I have a Photon Freedom Doug Ritter version Microlight. So that one is always with me, although I remove it for showers and swimming. (Its water resistance is not perfect.)
Apart from that, I wear a nylon belt holster with either a MiniMagLED or a SureFire E1L Outdoorsman. All the time. They come in very handy.

Always carry one, even in places where I can't carry a firearm!

Carry a Surefire G2Z. Have Surefire G2s in both vehicles and at several points around the house. On my primary home defense handgun (Kimber Desert Warrior), I have an Insight M3X.
The Surefire G2 is a great bargain at under $40. It's a great gift to give, too. People who've never looked at anything other than the standard D-cell lights are always amazed.

I carry a flashlight everywhere I go.
Usually a Coast Cutlery Tach Torch. It's a LED light, very bright and well focused beam. Runs on 3 AAA batteries that last a good long time. That is my every day carry flashlight. I have a Surefire G2 that I carry when I am out with the family.
My wife also carries a flashlight. Hers is a Surefire G2. She carries it every day.

The CCW class I took showed us some really neat tricks with the flashlight and I haven't been without my Surefire since
Got a maglight , but will get my G2 tomorrow with a speedholster.. Flashlights are great to carry even if you dont carry a gun.
