Just a quick update, in case anyone does a search for my same question, I tried on some other boots, (Doc Martins, Bates, Carolina, etc), and found them all to be a bit uncomfortable when I first tried them on.
Sorry, if a shoe/boot is right, there should be no "wait til you get them broken in" phase. After all, that line got me a pair of $175 Redwings that are still collecting dust!
I went with the Converse boots mentioned above and from the second I slipped them on and laced them up, I knew I had found the right shoe!! I have been wearing them for almost 2 weeks and my feet have never been more comfy in any boot/safety shoe!!!
Thanks for everyone's input! Even if I did not take your advice, I can't thank you guys enough for your time & input!!
You never see a motorcycle parked ouside a psychiatrist's office!

+1 I have a pair that are insulated, 5+ years now and they are hardly scuffed. I'm a job superintendant/ finish carpenter on very high end homes, ($2mil+) and my Danners get a workout in the winter. My summer boots are Ariats.
