The other thing no one mentioned about The Beltman is that you can choose how many holes you want and how they are spaced!

I thought that factor alone was a sign of the high quality of his workmanship.

I've had my 1.5 inch dual layer bullhide belt for about 4 or 5 months now and it is without a doubt the best belt I have ever owned. Gunbelt or otherwise!

I have been using a Gould & Goodrich belt for a few years with good results.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I've lost from 360 down to 235 in the past 3 years. I had my new belt custom made by a saddle maker. Two layers of quality cow hide 1 1/4 inch wide. No fancy buckle just a one hole buckle with enough holes for adjustment. Since I usually wear bib overalls I wear my belt under them with a Crossbreed holster under the bibs. It does not slip or move around and so far has been a quality set up for me.

I carry a Kimber Ultra Carry II in a Crossbreed SuperTuck. My wife carries a Walther PPS .40 w/Crossbreed holster.

    Belt

I use a belt from Galco at work and sometimes for CCW. It's got the steel rescue buckle on it. Some call it an instructor belt, lots of different names I guess. I'm moving down through a 40" waist from a 46" and it is super adjustable and sturdy. As for a leather belt, I got one from a local guy. Made to my size, fitted with my gun on, and he was able to adjust it when I lost a bunch of weight. I would rather go local for gun belts so I know it's fitted right, holes in right place, easy adjustments, etc.

The only problem I found was the size chart seems one size small. I have a 38 waist and needed the 40-42 (XL) belt.

I got my 5.11 leather belt and this thing is beefy... and at the price you can't beat it.

I got the XL thinking they size them like the custom leather guys... boy was I wrong. I need to order another one in L.. this thing barely keeps things snug on the tightest setting.

Don't worry. You made the right choice.
