Pentagon Lights L2 LED flashlight

I am thinking of buying one of these. I really like the LED lights and I like these.
I have never owned one and I don't know anyone who owns one so I am asking for opinions good or bad about Pentagon Lights.

The shop I work part time at has a couple of these at $91.00 and with my employee discount it will be a bit less.

I don't know much about these having only seen them at a gunshow, but I know where you can get a whole lot more bang for your buck if you are interested.

I know of a really good place to get an opinion of that light... Got to the CandlePowerForums, CandlePowerForums - Powered by vBulletin That is one of my favorite light information sources... ask a question, and you will get your answer.

Let me warn you... once you visit... the place is addictive... hide your debit and credit cards from yourself... you will want more lights... bigger, smaller, and BRIGHTER!!!

I just bought an Innova x5 and I love it. 80 lumens, with a 20 hour runtime, over 6 hours of peak light. Got it for 30 dollars. Quite impressive for the price.

I have an X5 as well, it is not near 80 lumens; closer to 20. Solid as a rock though.

Though I haven't heard anything bad about Pentagon lights, I have no personal experience with them. I have seem them advertised and they do appear to be very nice.

I do however, highly recommend Fenix brand LED flashlights. Fenix Store . I recently purchased their T1:225 lumens for 90 min or 60 lumens for 10hrs. Runs on 2 CR123A's. I love it. I also have the L0D, L2T, L2D CE, and of course, the T1. I like how many of the Fenix flashlights use AA's or AAA's. I am also in the process of getting a Malkoff 235 lumen LED drop in for my Surefire 6P. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.

Mike, I don't know anything about the L2, but I have been carrying a PX1 PentagonLight™ for just over a year now. It has been used, dropped, stepped on, rained on, etc and has never had a problem. I just change battery when the light starts to dim and keep going. This is one tough light.

Mike - Not about your L2, but I got a Pentagon S2 some time ago - this one has 19 LED's and is intended to be a flood deal - as such it is good. I have other lights of course but this one is good for ''in the house'' stuff - rather than regarding it as a defensive tool.

My fave these days for belt is NovaTac 120 programable BTW. That has taken over duty from my Surefire. Sorry for slight drift.
