Here's the best possible tactical flashlight!

I am not sure what the retail options are for the Torch, but I think it is pretty clear that we all would want one. Maybe a group buy is in order...

The 4100-lumen flashlight is being considered for the Guiness Book of World Records, and can ignite paper, light cigarettes, melt plastic, and even fry an egg -- but only has a fifteen minute battery life.
    What's not to like?

It looks like a projector bulb. Those are hot, and the guy in the video switches his hands around a lot...

If it doesn't need to warm up, it'd be awesome for strobing targets.

Theoretically, I suppose it is, in fact, possible to boil an eyeball.

I don't know about boiling an eyeball, LOL, but a light can be too bright, and 4100 lumens is waaaay too bright.

I first heard of this at Gunsite. Some 'operators' brought their 'torches' and did a low light level entry and clear. When those bright lights hit light colored objects, walls, doors, etc. their night vision was seriously impaired.

Hence I suspect this would be a good light for outdoor use, but not indoor.

These guys also sell lasers that can set clothing on fire and burn skin... Check out the Elite Series at:

Green Laser Pointer from Wicked Lasers.

It's $700 for one that'll set the bad guy on fire. Hah!

There's also the "pukelight," which is not commercially available yet, but you can read about it here:

Homeland Security's latest non-lethal weapon: the pukelight - Engadget

I want my .45 with a tactical pukelight and the Elite 150+ laser sights.

    That ought to be fun.
The facts are indisputable. There is more data supporting the benefits of Conceal Carry than there is supporting global warming. If you choose ignorance, in light of all the evidence, in order to bolster your irrational fear of guns, you are a greater threat to society than any gun owner.

Ditto on what Tangle said. Some interior white walls and ceilings can have a 90/95 % reflectivity.
That is a lot of very blinding light flooding right back at you.

Or it can be used as your own little sun tanning light. Although it might take some time to get to all your parts.
