I rigged up a neat little invention to carry my extra magazine or a flashlight on my belt. It's elastic strapping sewn into a loop, slipped over my belt. Vouila

P.S. I have some strapping left if anyone wants one. PM me your email address and I'll email you my postal address. I guess a crisp new $2.00 bill each in your 41¢ SASE should be fair?

Very cool idea L.M.O. I'm in the market for a mag/flashlight carrier but haven't commited to purchase anyone yet.
Most of the time my light rides in a weakside pocket.

Snug as a bug in a rug. Easy access as well with no dropped equipment. Not designed for fast "re-holstering" tho, Just loop it in with your belt where you want to carry the equipment.
Thanks,

Galls
I have been using as AKER combo mag/flashlight I picked up from the Galls catalog about 8 yrs ago for reasonable money. Worth taking a look.

Where did you get your elastic strapping. My wife is going to make some for me.
I have something like that from JSHolsters.com - We don't do pretty. We do practical.. you might want to sew a tab on it so you can pull the tab easier to insert the flashlight. I wear mine every day.
One other recommendation would to put the light end of the flashlight the other way (towards your 9 O'clock). That way, when you draw your flashlight, you are not putting your hand directly out front (where your muzzle might be while you are drawing).

A lower pocket in cargo pants and shorts works for me. Since I'm retired I don't have to, (and refuse) to wear "dress up" clothing.

I keep mine in my weak side pocket next to my phone. Those mag/light carriers looks pretty nice though. I may have to get one when I start carrying my auto loader instead of my revolver.

I got it online but had to order a lot more than I needed, thats the reason for making extras for anyone that wants 'em.
If you want one, I can cover the shipping, It's just a stamp. I figure 2 bucks is fair price.

I appreciate your kind offer. My wife is crafty and has a sewing machine. She was looking for material so she could make mine for me. She hadn't found any material. I was hoping you had a name or a link to the material you ordered. That way, I could order the material and have my wife make mine from the material (they do stretch and go out of shape after a while).
If you have a product name or a link to the material, that would be great.
Again, thanks.
