Insight tech xd laser/light combo? for subcompact

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this model or the company and any feedback they could give me, I am looking at the model that would fit on the subcompact, (model 2) a few questions offhand.

Will it fit on my service model xd 45 and my subcompact 9?

I know it is billed for the subcompact my thoughts here was along the lines of first getting the laser to show my wife how much her trigger pull is affecting her shot placement, after it serves that role I was hoping to use it on my service xd 45. Thanks for any help here. (or other suggestions)
