If "Nitesiters" is a particular brand, then the answer is NO!
If you are referring to Tritium illuminated night sights, then YES, I have tritium sights on 4 weapons.
Trijicon sights on my Glock 23; XS Big Dots on my XD9sc; Mepro iron sights on my AR-17 and a Mepro front bead on my Mossberg 590.
I wouldn't buy another weapon without tritium sights if they are available for the gun.
Statistically, a vast majority of shootings occur at night or in low light conditions. I want every advantage possible on my side in a gunfight.

"The gun is the great equalizer... For it is the gun, that allows the meek to repel the monsters; Whom are bigger, stronger and without conscience, prey on those who without one, would surely perish."
Nightsighters are better than nothing but not much. Actually they do exactly what they say they will and nothing else. Worth $10....yeah I think about right. Just get the light to go with them. They work as advertised.
An alternative is always good simply for being an alternative. If my pistols didn't have night sites already installed on them, I'd probably give these a try.
Here's their web site:

Also, there has been several threads over at HandGunForum.net, in case anybody is interested.
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

Those remind me of the paint years ago. Me personally I would save and buy true NS. I doubt I'd have time to be fidgiting trying to shine some light on them to get the to be luminescent
