No I do not If I can't get it done with the ten in the gun I shouldn't have started shooting any way. If you follow the logic that more is always better shouldn't you be carrying a rifle also.

Clip vs magazine, it sure gets some posters toasted. As I am seated here at my computer looking at a gun magazine or I mean literature, I read that the Worlds largest seller of 22lr guns does indeed have "clip" for their guns. I read "comes with 4-shot clip and an extra 7-shot clip" On this page, I see it described at least 4 times that way.
They designed it and made it, so I suppose they can call it what they want.
If you really need something to complain about, why not the texted message style of writing that some posters do!

An ounce of lead is worth 200lbs of cop.
I follow the logic that the magazine is the weak link in the equation. Magazines fail, and at the worst possible moments.
I also follow the logic that I may be attacked by more than one lone bad guy. Wolves usually travel in packs.
The one and only time I may ever need my gun, I may be facing 3 or more bad guys.
With the opportunity to being able to legally carry a concealed weapon, I just don't see the logic in being short sighted.

Just another example of what "could" happen... I have personally seen experienced Officers in a high stress combat shooting training facility eject fully loaded magazines in the heat of battle! So I figure if they could do that under stress, I'm going to consider the odds and always carry at the very least one spare!
I have also had one occassion a couple years ago where I had returned to my parked truck to discover the magazine from my Glock 23 laying on the seat!DOH!

I do carry an extra mag, but I'd say it is out of habit more than anything. If I cant hit 'em with the first 11...I should be runnin'

I always carry an extra mag. I keep one good to go in a mag holder that fits in my left rear pocket on the outboard side. Rocky from our forum makes these and I highly recommend them. I now have several for my 1911 magazines.
At least 2 extra.

Yes, I carry extra magazines. Always one, often two.
God, country, family.
I always carry two spares, 1 on me at all times and 1 in the center console of my car.

The road goes nowhere for those who dare not dream.
No extra 'clips' here. An extra magazine, yes when I carry a bottom feeder.

I answered No because I carry one double-stack or two single-stack (depending on what gun I carry) magazines.
Great poster, JD!
Oops, I didn't read all 8 pages of Mag vs. Clip comments before piling on!

Better to have one and not need it, then need one and not have it. So long as there's space for one or two, it seems silly (to me) not to carry it.
