    Surefire has me for life

So the other weekend my flashlight went dead while using it. I emailed Surefire and asked them what the problem could be. They emailed me back and asked me to send them my mailing address and said they would send me a new bulb assembly! I was figuring they'd tell me it was the bulb and then I'd buy a new one. Those things cost $17(e2d), so that’s pretty nice they are sending me one for free. I had heard they had excellent customer service and this just goes to prove it.
Yes, they are expensive, but I'm expecting a lifetime of use out of mine. And with customer service like that, my light should be able to make the trip.

Surefire bulbs should last for about 25 hours according to their technical support people.

You should have just bought the CREE LED Conversion for 10.00 and you would have been better off.......brighter light and less battery use......

But now you can still buy it and save your new assembly from SF as a spare.

I love Surefires, good stuff, both of my field lights are surefires.

Their customer service reputation within the military is top notch.

I took my 6P LED to Fishing Camp last weekend and I barely got to use it because everyone else there was busy playing with it...I know at least 2 or 3 of them will be hanging up their MiniMaglite's in favor of Surfire's. Surefire makes a great product.

I currently use a 3 LED minMaglite, and while it has served me well, I have been thinking about making the switch.

I'm also a big fan of Surefire. The end cap on my E2E broke, one phone call to them got me a new one 2 days later...free of charge! They have my business for good!

If you have a Surefire, don't put the cheapest LED drop in you can find in it. That's like putting 87 octane in a Ferrari. Get either the Malkoff (I highly recommend) or the Bug Out Gear drop in. Sure it costs as much as the light, but so does buying replacement bulbs that can break at any time, leaving you without light.
