    Thumbs up Super Dooper...Looper!

I'm pretty picky about what 'goods' I buy, and belts are no different. I have constantly purchased 'quality' western type belts that felt sturdy, I have two Instructor's Belts and they work quite well.
After looking over many posts about different makers, I took a chance and bought two Looper Belts (one black, one brown).

Well, they arrived today...I'm VERY impressed with the strength and quality...I got right on the phone and ordered the same two in a size larger for my few OWB holsters.

    Check out "looperlawenforcement.com"...
    See: Looper Reinforced Holster Belt...
Trying to post a pic seemed useless as the i-net site clearly displays them...

Best news? Each was only $30...a steal for sure

    Stay armed...use a quality belt...stay safe!

I've heard a lot of good things about them......bang for the buck seems to be hard to beat.

IIRR, they use a single thickness of leather backed with Kydex, is that right? Seems like that would make for a little thinner belt than the normal double thickness gun belts and might also be attractive to a lot of people.

    Nope leather in and out:

"Looper's reinforced holster belt. Our holster belt is made of full grain leather outer, full grain leather liner and has a kydex inner liner that allows the belt to be flexible enough to be comfortable, but rigid enough to support the weight of a holster and any other accessories that are needed by the law enforcment professtional or anyone with a concealed carry permit."

So it is still double thickness then, with Kydex between the 2 layers?

I got one while I was waiting from my beltman order to arrive.

While I agree that they are great from the money.. I am not at all worried that I overpayed from my beltman. Sometimes you actually DO get what you pay for.

That said, I happen to be wearing my looper at the very moment. "casual Fridays" still see jeans and the looper.

I have no problem recommending them.

It's a little thicker than some belts, but not noticeably...about as thick as a 5-stitch Wilderness...but more normal looking for everyday dress.
It is firmer than a Wilderness...

    Stay armed...use a good belt...stay safe!

looper does not even state on its website the width of the belt, and how to measure your size (for their purposes). Pretty lame if you ask me.

Looper is in my local area and their customer service is not good. If they have what you want on the shelf then they are more then friendly to sell it to you.

They have great belts at a great price on a rack for you to try out.

If they have to order something then they just write it down and tell you it will be a few weeks. I tried to call back to check on the order and I can't get a person to answer the phone. I left a message and was never called back.

This isn't the only time I've tried to get them to order something for me.

Mmmmm...guess you missed that part of the site because it's ALL there...
How to measure is a 'blue tab'...

My first order took about two weeks...the second order was less than a week????????????

I have three looper belts and love them. They are a long time family run business. The son recently took over as the father wasn't a good businessman. Anyway I wear a size 34 jean and I got size 40 belts and they work great with my OWB holster.

The only way I have seen any belt maker measure there belts is from end to end, to great mystery here.

They did tell me they have two websites and weren't checking the old email any longer. I told them they need to remove it or check it, one or the other, so make sure you are contacting them through the looperlawinforcement site.

I have purchased 3 belts from them they are good belts. the customer service could be better.

Both Times i had ordered I waited a month, then sent emails and never got a response. although roughly a week after the emails went out, I received the belts.

I would like a little better communication.. thats really my only complaint.
