FYI on new Glock magazines
Well, just like everything else--prices going up! I don't mean to start any panic buying here, but---------I talked with the folks at Natchez yesterday about their Shotgun News list prices versus their online prices and was told the lowdown on the current prices for advertised Glock magazines. Last week Glock handed down a 40% increase in magazine pricing to their retailers. As of right now, I'm still getting them locally for $20 each brand new. FYI

I've been trying to buy a few here and there when I had extra funds. I think we'll see mag prices continue to climb as the election draws near. Depending on who wins the Election, we may very well see a return to $50 mags in the future.
I could use a couple more G19 mags but I'm mainly concentrating on building a stash of 30 round AR mags now. I'm also trying to balance mag buying with stocking up on ammo, neither is getting any cheaper.

I was at a gun show last week, $45 for new glock mags !!!!
Looks like most places hiked from $20 to $25 per mag. Still a good price when you look at factory mags from other companies.

I just picked up 4 more G29 mags (new) from CDNN for $12.99 each last week. Looks like I got in under the wire because they're much higher now.

Everything is going up in price. 2 notices this week at work from manufacturers that they are raising prices. Hopefully paychecks will start to go up too.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Why I posted this--Natchez had listed $14.99 each in Shotgun News and I called for the current price. I had been getting good as new used mags for $15 each. Now they are $20. What's five bucks? Another gallon of petrol!

Ouch, I am getting off my duff and getting two more magazines before the price goes up anymore.

Well, I called yesterday, and stopped by my local 'go-to' gun shop Ozark Armory - Home on the way home from work this evening--picked up a couple slightly used G19 hi-cappers for $18 each. I'd been getting the used ones for $15 previously. Next go-'round will be a couple mags for the G22. Took my G17 shooting last week, and I was kinda surprised how many mags I have for that one--hi caps and ten rounders. Takes about 230 rounds to fill them all up!

Yeah, a 40% cost increase would be about $5 per mag. The problem is that a 40% cost increase on a Glock firearm would be about $150! I would guess that's coming down the pipe, since their whole justifaction for the price increase was the falling value of the dollar.

At least all my Glock mags work, so I don't mind so much spending money on them. I've got a few mags for this or that that don't feed reliably.
