What do you think of this vest?
This is a discussion on What do you think of this vest? within the Related Gear & Equipment forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; I'm curious what people think of the appearance of this vest. Does it look like it would conceal a gun or does it look more ...

Well, if you want an honest opinion I'll give you one... it would make me look like a dork with a gun, but you might be able to pull it off.

Looks like two different vests, they wouldn't work for OWB carry as they are too short.....guess I'm just not a vest kind of guy...but like they said if you like buy it....

I have a tendancy to carry a lot of odds and ends, not enough pockets for me. They don't look to bad but could be a little longer. For summer wear I like the old Eddie Bauer vest, it has mesh under arms for air flow and is cooler. The last vest at Eddie Bauer was different, not as good. I like vest but am picky .

I think people that walk around with a liberal mind set aren't smart enough to think this says GUN. Only those that have a condition yellow mind set.

Yep, me too. I'm just not a vest guy. I can do the same thing with a button-down short sleeve shirt.
I wear the heck out of this type of thing......

Not neccesarily. I know if I wore it, I would just look like an out of place red neck with a gun.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

These vests have alot more pockets than they appear. Many of the pockets are hidden or internal. I want to say that they have 22 pockets.
They also come in a "long" cut with an additional 2 inches.

What you use for concealment is always regionally dependent. In the mtn West, vests are as common as socks.

It's a little shapeless for my taste. If your day-to-day wear is hoodies, XL tshirts and loose-cut jeans, it could work, otherwise...
