Peltor TacSport electronic earmuffs?
I'm thinking about moving up to electronic earmuffs and want to stay under $100(ish).
Has anyone tried these?
MidwayUSA - Peltor TacSport Electronic Earmuffs (NRR 20dB) Black
How do they compare to the Peltor 6S? Are they as slim as (or close) to the 6S?
Thanks for any input.

I used to have the Peltor SportTac.
GlobalSecurity.org - Reliable Security Information - PeltorĀ® SportTac Tactical Sport Headset
I don't know if these are the same model? I was very satisfied with them. Nice fit and comfortable. Nice blockage from shots but you are still able to communicate with friends thanks to the function amplifies ambient sound
Unfortunately I sold them. I need to buy a new pair. Thanks for the reminder :-)

Isn't it strange?
I just checked out the net for new Peltor SportTacs. They are around $100 in the States and costs about $220 in Sweden. And Peltor is a SWEDISH brand!!! I guess Volvos are cheaper in the States too

I don't know how good they are, as I've never used them, but I've seen advertised on TV from Caldwell some electronic muffs for around $65 (if I remember correctly)

My wife and I have Peltors...they are about 5 years old, but are about at the 20 - 25 dB range...similar to those...I think you would find those very useful. OMO

I have no idea about those, but I bought a pair of electronic muffs from Harbor Freight for under $20 a year ago and they work great.

You can find them for around $90 at ebay or in the link I provided in with my first post.

Thanks for the input,
I'm going to try and check a pair out in person. I think for $100 or less, the TacSports are what I want. If you get yours soon, let us know how they workout.

I will. Might take a little while with shipping to Sweden.
