It has a good reputation. I have a sample but have not used it. I prefer Mobile 1 to any oil or grease.

I have been using Miltec on my CZ for a couple of years and have had no problems. As a layman and not a chemist, I really don't know how you compare it to say CLP or another product. I know my handgun functions just fine with the stuff.

Been using Militec on my guns for many years. I use it in the bores and on the exterior. Some of my guns have been in the safe for as long as two years while I worked overseas. Militec protected them.

Haven't tried it yet but ordered 4 ounce bottle off e-Bay Friday for $12.99 + s&h

MILITEC-1 Synthetic Metal Conditioner has the unique ability to create a complex, molecular compound within the surface of heated gunmetal. This causes MILITEC-1 to become part of the metal, not merely a temporary coating.

I know it's extremely popular among the butterfly knife (Balisong) crowd. Those pivot points really get a work out when serious flipping is done.

    Never tried it, probably should.....

Militec is located in Waldorf, MD. I ordered Militec by the pint.

    The Militec link:
