Steamlight TLR 2, any one using it on an AR?

Thinking about adding a light/laser to my new AR. Don't want to spend a fortune as I won't be raiding crack house or cleaning out insurgents.
Anyone using or used the Streamlight TLR2 on their AR. Opinions ? or recommendations would be appreciated. THANKS.

I have one on mine. Runs fine. I picked up a pressure switch for it...attached the switch to my vert. foregrip to activate the light.
Mounted it on the right side up at the end of my rail.

It survived a 1000 round count plus some additional plinking with no issues.

Somebody's having a sale! I don't know about the TLR-2, but I have a Streamlight M-3 mounted on my AR with remote pressure pad, and it's sweet! A weapon mounted light is a good option IMO.

The TLR-2 is a very good light no matter where you mount it!

Not sure that a light on my AR would be practical for me...needing a light for a long distance shot would require a 'flood light' with about 4.5 million lumens.

I'll stick with an individual hand held light for use with my pistols.

Stay armed...separate gun and light for me...stay safe!

I keep m TLR-2 on my G21 in the safe under the bed

I have put it on the side rail of my AK before and practice some low light shooting with it, worked good for me
