I purchased one of these a few weeks ago as I as I prepare to go hunting. MI is an open carry state, but hunting laws prevent you hunting with more then 4 (or is it 5) rounds in the mag in MI.
It is all a matter of odds. The 80 acre family get away does has bear sign on it, and a few years back had an aggressive badger. The odds or me running into either, small. Odds that the 30.06 hunting rifle will not do the trick, slim. Odds of LEO or DNR being on the property, small. Odds of them not understanding the Glock is not a hunting weapon, minor.
Still, I feel the need for a back up weapon. If a purse carry counts as a CC, then so does the Safepacker Holster. It is very easy to draw from.
Thoughts on the holster?
PS- Yes, I know a 44 Mag revolver would be the better back up gun in the woods. Just don't have the funds ATM.
Looks like the solution to a problem that didn't exist to me...
