I want a small safe for my car. I would prefer a safe that is bolted to the car (under the driver seat). Security cables can be cut with almost any pair of cutting pliers.
This stack on safe can be operated in the dark with one hand (once I memorize the combination and the placement of the buttons)
Does anyone have experience with this?
Stack On - Low Profile Quick Access Safe with Electronic Lock
I'm in Texas and sometimes go to places where we can't carry. I want a safe place to store my G27 - that is quickly accessible.
First, Welcome to the forum. Would that safe fit under the seat of your car? Would it interfere with the adjustability of your seat?
I use a Center-of-Mass safe when I need to lock my gun in my truck. Even though it has a security cable I feel fairly comfortable using it. I'd rather a determined thief cut the cable than totally destroy the interior of my truck. The cables are fairly stout and I don't think they'd be that easy to cut. OMO
