I need to get a dog.

    My easy chair guard.

Well he does guard against mice from time to time. I don't have children, so once a year, I dress him up for Christmas. He hates it, and my wife and I just laugh. Well, it is funny to us. Once he is gone, though I love him, I'm getting a dog for home D and hunting.

When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

    The Old and the New

One of mine went to the Rainbow Bridge after 17 years loving service and the other came with God's own timing to soothe the pain and isn't that the way it always seems to happen?

The black one is Amber, recently departed and the gray is Grayce for what she brings to us and the one holding the rifle is what I constantly urge them to aspire to (albeit with little if any success)!

Try taking away their food and they will eat you alive.

Arnold is probably the "top cat" around the house (although Toby is constantly testing him). Arnold is a polydactyl pixie-bob & about 18 lb these days. He has a pound or so on Toby ...

Here he's sharing the couch in between his 2 half sibs, Lucille & Toby.
