Titan Gun Vault
I have a few small vaults and here are the reasons I like the Titan the best so far, in order of what I see important:
1. Keeps clip and pistol separate to abide by the laws of CA
2. Thin enough to be mounted to the dash next to my knee (F-350)
3. Clip can be unloaded/loaded with just the door open
4. Batteries don't go dead since there ain't none
NOW for the people that think it takes to long to open, load, aim, shoot, and clean the splatter off your shirt; I think you're thinking bass ackward. The PoePoe don't jump through your window like a car jacker would so the idea would be to keep the Titan open and pistol loaded and put it away when you see pretty flashing lights behind you.
The biggest problem is the PoePoe think we carry guns to shoot them.

Welcome...
from Central Florida!
ret
Here you go...
TITAN Gun Vault from Titan Security Products Inc.
I think I'd keep the clip IN my sidearm...
Why not just keep it on your person?
If not in the car, I wouldn't want a safe with 'something' inside, exposed to view...OMO
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

I totally agree but pulling my phone from it's holster takes the same minimal effort as my model 27 but when the seat belt is on, things can get complicated you don't want to be moving around to much with the back of your head lit up. It is nice being pulled over with my equipment all put away and the Titan in clear view, I'm in compliance and have not been even asked anything in the all 3 times I've been pulled over since install.
This product is the ticket for me living in CA. I don't wear a towel on my head and don't wear my boxers above my dickies so I am being pulled over for no front plate, speeding and not stopping long enough at a stop.
And yes, I do keep the clip installed until the Vault is locked. I was just pointing out that people think it takes to long to open and load but that should not be the concept behind it. Keep it open and loaded till you stop or get stopped. At night I leave the Vault empty and open.

I think your coming dangerously close to breaking the rule of admittig illegal activities in this post. If you aren't licensed to carry your firearm in the state of CA, breaking the law by carring it in a manner that can easily be rendered legal before the cops get to your window isn't really what this site is all about.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.
