Free Hogue rubber grips for P228/229!
In celebration of my 1,000th post, and the arrival of my Hogue G10 grips (pics coming soon), I am giving away a set of grips for the P228/229. Finger groove or without grooves, winners choice. Sigforum does "karma" posts like this all the time, and I thought I'd try to bring some karma over here.
Rules:
Post up why you love your sig, and if you want grooves or no grooves (grooved best for large hands only)
Use the grips if you win them.
Winner will be picked by random number generation on Friday.

I already have a set for my 229, but I just wanted to say a couple of things. First, Kudos to you sir. It is very generous to offer this. Second, to anyone that enters this contest, Hogue rubber grips with finger grooves make a 229 feel like it was made just for your hand.

I love my P228, because it is everything I had hoped it would be. I love my
P228, because it just has something you cant put your finger on over the p229
My P228 just makes me feel like a better shooter. I know that if I had "discovered" Sig before Glock and got it before my G23, this would be my EDC. I mount it into my Mitch Rosen Premier OWB, and it simply disappears under a t-shirt. I wanted a p228 because at the time they weren't importing them to the US anymore, and I found a great deal on a NIB one with NS and two 13 rounders. Now I just cant talk myself into ever getting rid of it. I see why it is the issue weapon of so many military special agents. I love my P228 for everything a fighting SD weapon should be. It is well balanced, it is all kinds of accurate, and just plain sexy to look at. LOL.
Ill take the non grooved please.
