Personally, I'd stay away from ProMag for your aftermarket magazines. I tend to steer clear of anything other than OEM magazines anyway. If your life depends on it.......well then.....save the aftermarket world for truck and car parts.

    Best Kept Secret

Go with MecGar mags for your SIG.
SIG does not make their own magazines.
MecGar makes all of the SIG factory magazines.
The MecGar are actually finished better than the SIG factory mags and they are less expensive.

Had a few ProMag's over the years and some were good, some were bad.

Stick with originals or MecGar (makes some originals).
    IMHO

Avoid Promag for your Sig like the plague.
I tried out some, if they work once you're lucky. They jam, wear out early, cause the weapon to jam. They are not worth it for Sig.
I know not what this "overkill" means.

Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.

    Mec-Gar doesn't make P225/P6 mags.

Go with factory SIG, available from TopGunSupply.com or Sig.com. They are expensive, but stick with the factory mags.

ProMag is without a doubt, the worst magazine I have ever purchased.
I don't know how a dealer can keep a straight face and sell one!
I tried them for my Star M39. Total bomb.

I had some before and they were horrible. I only buy OEM. Not worth saving a couple of bucks.

Buy some Walther P1 (aka P38) mags, you'll only need to cut the mag catch notch.
