Depends on how it is stored. I replace mine every 1.5 - 2 years. I then use the old stuff for practice (sometimes into the wind)...might as well see what would happen in a SD situation and some got into your own eyes. Could you still mobilize your thoughts and actions?
The last Blood Moon Tetrad for this millennium starts in April 2014 and ends in September 2015...according to NASA.

Can't speak for the Fox, but the MSI Oc sprays I use have an expiration date label on them. IIRC it was 4 years or so. I'm sure it will be effective after that, but why risk it? It's cheap.

A few years ago one of the vendors said that the keychain units should be replaced every year.Larger units last for several years, and the last I bought had an expiration date. I have found that none I have had has much left in the can after two years.

I also weighed each type unit plus an empty to be able to determine when the OC is gone. I find the 2 oz units last about 4 years.

    Regards,
    Jerry

If you let more than 1-2 years go by without finding someone/something deserving to be sprayed, you aren't trying hard enough.
