How do you conceal your Revolver?

I'm new here and new to the handgun world.

Now with that said, don't think I'm stupid. I had a guy just the other day tell me I needed to give my gun to someone who knew how to hold it. It was then that I explained to him that the guy given the gun better pull the gun and shoot when I tell him to.... Moving on.

I've got a EAA .357 Magnum 2" revolver. I like it, a lot. I've shot a few 9mm and .380 and even 22 semi autos but when I put that revolver in my hand it felt like butta, just like butta. I fell in love and bought it from the owner for a good price.

    I'm 6'3" and weigh close to 300# with a 40" waist.
So with all that, to my question:

How do you conceal your revolvers as large and bulky as they seem?

A good strong-side holster and belt, covered with a loose shirt.

I'm 5'9" tall, with a 44" waist.... and carry a 7-shot Taurus at times, and use an IWB (inside waist band) holster with no issues at all.... in fact, it is very comfortable and conceals well. The 5- shot , fits easily in an IWB holster or into a pocket holster and in the pocket.

I guess I'm not understanding the issue, unless you are talking OWB (outside the waist band).

There is also a conceal carry undershirt that it fits into very nicely.

There are some great holster manufacturers listed here. I was just looking at crossbreed for my wife's S&W j frame 642

Speed Six 2.75" OWB scabbard, strong side. FIST #7. That rig conceals extremely well. I rely on it in the summer fairly heavily.

I use a OWB JIT from Don Hume for my S&W model 66 and an IWB H715 SOOT from Don Hume for my S&W 342 and Colt Detective Special, both covered by a shirt. I am going to buy a good IWB holster for the 66 as soon as I have the funds.

I use one of two carry holsters most of the time...a Fist #1A and a Fist #41...both conceal completely...

For a 2" snub nose, just stick it in your front pocket (with a pocket holster). Levi jeans, dockers and some suit pants will hide that gun no problem.

    That's what I do.
I use the DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster (#N38BJN3Z0) to hold my Detective Special.

I also like speedloaders better than speed strips.
I either carry those in a pouch on my belt, or sometimes just put one in my pocket.

I have a Don Hume snap on, open top IWB that I use for j-framed guns. That keeps my pockets clear for flash lights, knives, speed loaders, keys, lighter, phone...you get the picture. I think it's a 715-M.

If not pocket carrying it; my personal choice for revolver IWB carry is the AJ Concealco. Just google the name. I use them for any revolver I carry. The price is right, I like adjustable cant, and the draw/retention is ideal. I like how the front strap attaches too.

Also, as big as you are, I would also recommend an IWB from HBE leather. Get a good holster with two loops, one on either side.

You also want to avoid reinforced mouths on the hoster because you already have the thickness of the cylinder to deal with. Add a reinforced holster mouth and you're getting thick.

A good pocket holster fro the Mod. 60, and a Galco Fletch holster for the Ruger .357, under a loose shirt or jacket. I'm about your size, and these work well for me.
