Looks pretty neat. It appears to have a pretty long run-time on one AA.

Quite impressive properties - could well be (another) on the list sometime, to add to the other flashlights in the collection

You can now get one of those toothed lens things from Triple Aught Designs for this one and some others.

And only $38, not a bad price either.

I'm gonna order one... I doubt it's as powerful as my Surefire but for the convenience factor it may be a more practical light.

I'm trying to get away from relying on C123 batteries so much, and more toward AA battery operated lights. The batteries are cheaper, easier to find, and in most cases, thusly operated lights are all you need.

I may even get a fenix like that.

I have one and it is one of my EDC items. The size is outstanding and you can't beat the price. It has a long running time and you can get batteries just about any where for it. I should add that for a little flashlight it pretty bright and is a great little tool to have as a backup. I am planning on buying a couple more for each vehicle and a couple of spares for when the power goes out.

Just thought I would add. I did a post on the fenix L1P at the beginning of jan. I carried it everyday since I got it. Unfortunately, I lost it. I had it in its sheath and was carrying a baby at the time and I'm guessing that somehow I (or the baby) accidently pulled it out of the sheath while we were either eating or shopping. I have a new L1T on order though. I'll post my impressions of it soon.

Here is the thread on the Fenix L1P

Very cool. I think I'm going to get my dad a L2T for father's day. May as well get myself one while I'm paying for shipping right?

I own one. Not as bright as the 65 lumens my surefire G2 puts out, but when I shine the Fenix's 45 in my eyes, i still see stars for a while.

Again, the battery thing is a major plus.
