Ive got a glock 26 with mep nite sights. Is there some where I can get a front sight that is thinner? I like to see alittle daylight on each side of my site.

with out filing it you would have to find a thinner front sight and that might be a pain..
If ya do file i would widen the rear and not file the front
You could get a fine cut rectangular jewelers file with a "safe" edge & carefully widen your rear sight equally on both sides of the notch & then cold blue the file cuts.
With a "safe" (smooth edge) your file will not cut deeper into the notch & will only remove metal on the flat face.
