You do not fight like you train nor will you rise to the occasion, but rather default to the highest level you have mastered....Officer B. Harnish.

Nope haven't seen that yet but I just use the Harbor Freight 2.5L cleaners for $60.

Tubby45,
Aside from cleaning brass, how do you think the unit would work for cleaning out gunk and residue from semi-auto's ? It might save some time if it worked, provided the proper solutions were used.
Thanks,
bosco
I use mine to clean my M16's BCG after a full auto demo. Also use it to clean my company's silencers at regular intervals. For brass I only use it to clean rifle brass (I load .30-06 Garand loads, M14 .308 loads, and subsonic .308 loads for my rifle line). Pistol brass just gets the standard tumbler treatment. Pistol is for plinking and my rifle is for matches and hunting.

Most of those solutions use vinegar which, combined with lead, will form acetic acid and eat the aluminum. Most guys that report this are using "The Dip" solution with aluminum suppressors or not rinsing their BCGs before they put them in their M16/AR15.
