Question need data: 9mm alient power pistol + berrys 115g RN

I am finding very little data out there for power pistol.
Can anyone give me a charge wt and oal for using power pistol with a 115 gr round nose plated or fmj?
I am using berrys bullets, but im sure a RN FMJ will do just fine for starters.
    thanks!

For plated bullets, use data for the same bullet weight in cast lead. For the most part, unless you are loading max-pressure loads, the brand of bullet doesn't matter.

You need to buy a couple of loading manuals, rather than depend upon some recipe someone gives you on the Internet. The Lyman manual is a good first manual for beginners.

My Lee manual for 115 fmj gives:
    start 6.2gn fps 1186
    max 6.7 fps 1280
    oal 1.120

Berry's bullets should not be driven over 1200 fps according to a response I got from the folks at Berry's. Power Pistol is a very accurate powder, I find, even in starting loads.

Lyman has 115 JHP and Power Pistol loaded as follows:

    5.9 to 6.5 with 6.5 yielding 1215 fps and 31,000 psi OAL 1.090"
Keep in mind this is for a hollow point. With plated round nose you need to increase OAL considerably.

I would drop the Berry's and shoot Xtreme plated. Cheaper price and have a thicker plating so you can push them to jacketed velocity no problem (actually lead can be driven to a faster velocity with lower pressure than any jacketed or plated bullet).

PM me your new address there in TN and I'll mail you a hundred or so 115gr to try out. Sucks you're not up here by Tech anymore otherwise I'd run them down to Houghton for you.

    TJCONEVERA.COM

Price includes shipping on retail orders, $79/K shipped for 115gr (wish they made 124gr). Very good business to deal with. They are my supplier for Xtreme bullets in my commercial ammunition. Easier to deal with since shipping from IL to the Keweenaw is dirt cheap (they ship flat rate box whereas Xtreme doesn't and they are based in NV). Very good to deal with.
