About LinkBacksI have a friend that owns a LAR Grizzly. He is looking for a reload using 230gr XTP bullets with 296 powder. I cant seem to find a load for it. He really likes the 230XTP.
Do any of you know of such a load?
Any help would be appreciated.

I have a friend that owns a LAR Grizzly. He is looking for a reload using 230gr XTP bullets with 296 powder. I cant seem to find a load for it. He really likes the 230XTP.

Well the Hornady book doesn't show a 230 gr. XTP load. It does show the 200gr and 250gr with W296. Max load for 200gr is 27.6 and max load for 250gr is 25.1. Should be able to work a suitable load using those two variables.

Sierra reloading manual Not showing XTP but 230 JHP shows 20.4 grn start 23.4 max.
