    reloading the 30-06

I have reloaded the 30-06 as long asI can remember... I have pretty much stuck with 59.5 grns of MR4831 which has given me a quarter size group at 100 yards with a speer 150 spitzer. Put down a lot of deer with it..

If your rifles in 30-06 are semi auto battle rifles or semi auto hunting rifles, then the 4895 to 4064 powders are the way to go, with 4064 being slightly more versatile in other calibers. 375 H&H and 348 winchester both work well with 4064.

If you load for bolt guns then 4350 to 4831 are the go to powders as these two work well in multiple calibers and casings. They are hard to beat.

My bulk powders are 4064 and 4350, I could be just as happy with 4895 and 4831 but certain of my guns like the first two mentioned so that is what I buy in bulk.

    Good luck

The .06 is a bolt gun, thanks for the recommendations!
