just figured i would share this past weekends reloading adventure.
Don't know if any of you 40 or 10mm guys have played with this but here is the thread:
40 cal from 9mm easiest by far and cheap! - Cast Boolits
What I started with was a .40 bullet that weighed between 195-197gr and I used my power pistol load out for this ( I don't share pet loads with people for liability reasons)
I have a deviation with the swaged rounds from 192+ to 200gr. So I weigh them out and separate them from 192-194 /195-196 / 197-200
It has to do with the consistency of the lead mold.
Knocked out a few monsters through the chrono of the ten rounds:
Glock 29SF 3.78" barrel
That is why I love power pistol. Consistent and fast. I also use AA#7 for my 10mm but for this particular round, I use PP.
Anyone else doing this?
Thanks! PP is nice in the 10 and really good (except for its noted flash) in the 40.
Chose a weapon that goes bang EVERY time!
