    COL Question for .223

I'm fairly new to reloading rifle cartridges. I just loaded 50 rds of Sierra Gameking 55gr HPBT. Long story short, I set them at 2.210 when they should have been set at 2.240 My eyes read the COL for the bullet listed above it. 25 of them are loaded at suggested start of 25.0 gr. and 25 are at 25.5 Does anyone see this as being a pressure problem? Or do I pull them. Thanks

Nope. Shoot them. Stated COLs, especially in rifle rounds, are a nebulous dimension. Many rifle loads are "compressed" with longer bullets. Typically longer COLs will improve accuracy, with the bullet just a few .001s shy of touching the rifling.

Magazine fed guns like AR's I always load to Max Magazine OAL which is 2.260, or to the Cannelure.

Bolt guns COAL is gun dependent if your trying to minimize bullet jump.
