    Ballistic tips for handgun rounds?

Has there been any ammo manufactures that have tried using a ballistic tip for hollow point handgun rounds? They have become popular for this reason with hunting rifle rounds. Would this help with feeding problems like FMJ rounds would? Rounding the tips instead of just being flat at the point. It could potentially help expansion of the bullet but might also make it Illegal.

IMO ballistic tips would not be of use in handgun ammo. AFAIK these require the high velocities of rifle power to gain the required effect.

Pow-rball might be the closest (loosely) we see available for handgun ammo.

Yea I really didn't hear much about this round until I did a search just now. I like the feed clams but the low weight high velocity and P+ factor Kind of scare me off. I would really like it if they came out with a 200-230 grain lower pressure round. How likely is that from Corbon (they seem to only do P+ ammo)? Several people mention others are starting to do this to their premium SD rounds. Any others to look for? I really don't want the snappier P+ round to hurt my pistol.
