Post Welcome to the DefensiveCarry Reloading (sub)forum

By request, we've established this forum for those of you that reload or are wanting to learn to reload. Please take a minute and read the sticky thread for forum specific information and, as always, all general forum rules apply.

P95Carry, the moderator of this subforum, and I will be moving all reloading threads out of the current ammunition and ballistics forum to their permanent home here. If you notice that we missed something, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Hey, this is great!!! Ought to be a valuable addition to the board. Especially when I'm up with insomnia like tonight....

Thx to Bumper for setting this up - and to reiterate - please make sure y'all have read the info up top. It is for everyone's benefit.

Time will be the factor regarding getting all reload stuff moved across and as Bumper says - if you spot an old thread that deserves to be in here now - please PM me. Over a few days hopefully we'll be about up to speed.

No way can I be in here all the time so I ask please that any member who sees something blatantly unsafe or crazy posted use the report-post option so staff knows. Thank you and stay safe.

Thanks for doing this, now does the pointy end of the bullet go into the shiny thing or the blunt end?

You can do it both ways. I've loaded backwards on purpose. Acts like a double ended WC would. Great accuracy and then you start to shoot "patterns" instead of groups. I've used them on small game as more of a thumper than a penetrator.
