Lee Precision Customer Service
I want to relate my recent experience with Lee Precision and let others know how things went.
I use Lee Products a lot. All of my die sets are Lee. The only reloading tools I have that are not Lee products are my bullet puller (Cabelas), scale(RCBS), and some Cabelas case prep stuff and Dial Caliper. Everything else is Lee.
I had my first problem a few weeks back. My Savage model 10, .308 Winchester, evidently has a very tight chamber, so when resized brass was reloaded there was some friction in the chamber making the bolt harder to close than it should have been. I checked everything with claipers and it was all within SAAMI tolernaces, however not small enough to fit smoothly in my particular chamber like factory ammo does.
I went to Lee's website and follwed the instructions there, which were to send the die with two fired cases and one resized case. I sent the stuff with a note letting them know what the problem was.
I mailed it out on Wed afternoon and much to my suprise on Monday afternoon had a new die in the mailbox, sized for my chamber (close to min SAAMI spec).
I couldn't believe the turn around time. They also returned my 3 cases. Needless to say, I was impressed with the service I received and thought that the best thing to do would be to share my good experience with others.
When you've got 'em by the balls, their hearts & minds will follow. Semper Fi.

The sign of a good company is not how seldom you have problems, but how they treat you when you do have a problem.
It sounds like Lee is a good company.

Low prices on the products and customer service like that? Seems to me some other companies out there could learn from these people!

I dont know if I can say Lee is a part of this...but I ordered a Lee perfect powder disc set from Midway and got 2 of one disc and 0 of another. (Should have had 4 different disc 1 ea) Called Midway and they sent me a whole new kit ASAP free ship and I didnt have to send the messed up kit back. Very friendly service.

Jack, that would be Midway's "fault". They also have an excellent customer service.

When I got the turret press from midway, the primer lever didn't want to stay put. Kept falling off the ram. Emailed Lee, they verified which part, and sent it out. In my hands in 3 days with no request for the old part. Outstanding customer service and great products for the price.
