The Second Amendment and the terror watch list
Some Republicans are coming under undue ridicule for opposing an effort to block the purchase of weapons by people on the U.S. terror watch list. In an editorial for next week, we'll defend Republicans like Maine's Susan Collins and South Carolina's Lindsey Graham, noting that those on the watch list
have been convicted of no crime and should not be stripped of constitutional rights simply because the government has decided they deserve extra scrutiny when they fly.
We will, though, propose that the Department of Homeland Security be notified whenever someone on the list attempts to purchase a weapon, so that the purchase can be blocked - or at least investigated.
[emphasis added]
They are against prior restraint of 2A when there is no criminal conviction!

I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

Well, except for the part where they want the purchase blocked and/or investigated. Looks a bit double speakish to me. But from some of your other posts, no surprise there. Kind of like saying, sure you have the right to purchase a gun, but we won't let you.
I prefer to live dangerously free than safely caged!
