The poll is a little misleading.
Criminals already carry in bars, but should ask if those having a CCW license be allowed to carry in a bar.

The question is if one should be allowed to carry in bars. It makes no mention of restaurants. I stay out of bars to begin with but even if it was allowed I still would not carry in a bar.

I'm really hoping that this law gets through quickly without too many changes. Avoiding the alcohol serving restaurants is annoying, and people wonder why I always suggest IHOP or Bob Evans.

I of course voted "yes", yet it never ceases to amaze me how media polls usually present present firearms rights questions in such a baited way as this. The poll question doesn't mention any restrictions of the proposed bar/restaurant carry, doesn't mention that anyone LEGALLY carrying under said proposed changes MAY NOT be consuming alcohol. If I were the average-Joe Public kinda guy, uninformed of the ENTIRE content of the proposed changes in Ohio's CCW laws, I would have likely voted no on this poll. At any rate, I think the Toledo area newspaper usually has an anti-CCW slant most of the time anyways if I'm not mistaken...

Thanks Guys! The poll is down (Monday AM) but we turned it around final was 55% YES and 45% NO.
Very slanted question, didn't address the restrictions that will be included in the change to the law Ie: no drinking alcohol while carrying.
Sure it wasn't the result they expected or wanted. Posted the poll on 5 sites and totally swung the poll.
