FYI it was already heard we are waiting on a decision
Sorry, I remember it was heard earlier this year, it is the "decision" I was referring to.
Wasn't it supposed to be decided this month ?

It will be decided this month, they are just getting the opinions written. If I had to guess, CJ Roberts will be writing the opinion for the majority.

Scotus usually announces big cases on the last Monday of the current session. That would make it June 28. Of course, it could come earlier or even later but I doubt it will be later.
I just hope the get it right!![]()

It will be just like Heller. Affirming the right but implying reasonable restrictions are acceptable.
This means cities like chicaghole will have to submit and say you can own a handgun now but here is the fee, requirement, and training schedule to own one and we can require home inspections by our CAGE goons to ensure you are properly storing it etc etc etc
Next on the agenda to regain our freedom is Select Fire haha... just had to hijack

Its just another example of the politicians refusing to pay attention to the will of the people, the constitution and the SCOTUS. They will force their version of gun control regardless of any decision to the contrary. I'm surprised the Feds haven't been able to get something on Daley like they did to Blago. They could get adjoining cells with the other crooks then Chicago and Illinois could join the real world, not the dream one elitist politicians live in.

It should be like the Heller case.No high capacity guns, restricted permits like New York.Illinois has no right to carry law so everyone in Chicago would have to keep it home.June 28th is when the ban should be found unconstitutional. What is expected from this is the start of other law suits going after the unresonable restrictions set by states and cities.NYC is terrible when it comes to giving carry permits. The elites get them who are anti-gun.
