He's reaching.
Most of that stuff was already litigated, and the lawful commerce in arms act undercuts most of what wasn't.
Now, if an FFL can't keep his paperwork tight...well.

However, for the most part, I smell desperation.

"I would urge anyone buying a gun at this time to wait," said Chicago Attorney Mara Georges.
That sounds like great advice. What's the worse that can happen in Chicago in just a few days?

Daley may impede changes to conform to the decision, like the DC rulers post-Heller. But eventually he will depart and the McDonald decision will still exist.

He is gonna do everything he can to make it hard...heard they may make "ballistic finger printing" of guns , and liability insurance for gun owners mandatory.

Daley is such a drip.
I don't imagine he would willingly give up his armed security contingent that guards him with "guns" 24/7, but he attempts to deprive common citizens the RIGHT to arm and protect themselves.

The people of Chicago (the live ones, at least) should see how hard Daley is working to eliminate their rights....even with the SCOTUS is telling him "what you are doing is unconstitutional"....I mean, how stupid can the people of Chicago be?

quote the McDonald opinion, page 49:
the Second Amendment right protects the rights of minorities and other residents of high-crime areas whose needs are not being met by elected public officials.
Even SCOTUS thinks Daley is a failure.

Daley is the epitome of dumb, egotistical politicians who think they know better than anyone else how to live their lives. History proves they are wrong but they never seem to learn from history and neither do the ones who keep them in office.

I'm not sure we know the answer to that yet. Let's see if the re-elect the moron again, and again, and again ...

Yeah...but it's not the live ones that keep him in office.
Just wondering if he has a son to pass this mayor thing on to or is he the end of the tyranny?

I know, that's appalling.
Cant he just make the city "may-issue" and make the bar ridiculously & unrealistically high for most people? (Also a direct slap in the face to the spirit of the law and 2A)

The thing about "defense" is that it has practically nothing to do with guns. (As passed on by CCW9MM)
